The Slovak Super Liga, currently known as the Fortuna Liga, is the top level professional football league in Slovakia.
The league was founded in 1993, following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. It is currently contested by 12 teams.

The top team is automatically qualified for the UEFA Champions League. The second and third-placed teams qualify for the UEFA Europa League. The bottom team in the league is relegated to the second division.
