MEXICO Liga MX
Liga MX, also known as the Liga BBVA MX, is the top professional football league in Mexico. It is organized by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and features 18 teams who play each other for a total of 17 matches per season.
Liga MX was founded in 1943 and is considered the strongest in North America.
The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion and qualifies for the CONCACAF Champions League. The second and third-placed teams qualify for the Copa Sudamericana.The bottom four teams are relegated to the second division, the Liga de Ascenso, while the top two teams from the Liga de Ascenso are promoted to Liga MX.
Some of the most successful clubs in Liga MX include Club América, Chivas Guadalajara, Cruz Azul, Toluca, León, UANL Tigres, Pachuca and UNAM Pumas who have won multiple titles.
Liga MX is known for its passionate fans and intense rivalries, particularly the El Súper Clásico between Club América and Chivas Guadalajara.
Liga MX has produced many talented players, including Hugo Sánchez, Rafael Márquez, and Jared Borgetti, who have gone on to successful careers at top clubs around the world.
