The Cypriot First Division, also known as the Protathlima Cytaiou, is the top professional soccer league in Cyprus. It was founded in 1934. The league is run by the Cyprus Football Association.

The league uses a points system, with three points awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.
